Here are the main care requirements for growing an agave plant:

• Requires full sun, with at least six hours of light daily.
• Plant in the spring or early fall.
• Prefers neutral to slightly acidic soil.
• Does not grow well in humidity.
• Hold off on fertilizer.
• Water only when the soil is dry.
